If it’s a change of scenery you want, it’s a change of scenery you’ll get…and then some. From the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park and mystery of Radnor Forest in the South to the untamed beauty of the Berwyn Mountains in the North, Powys is a county of spectacular contrasts.
Rugged hills, leisurely walks, wonderful water sports, great golf courses and some of the UK’s finest fishing give you an idea of what Powys can offer. But you’ll also find a Great Indoors as well as a Great Outdoors, with first-class restaurants, buzzing pubs and clubs, multiplex cinemas, packed theatres, state-of-the-art sports centres - as well as the castles and museums you would expect in such an historic part of the country.
